  1. Getting Started: Our initial meeting will be spent discussing your goals and touring your home. We’ll review questions you have and decide if we’re a good fit to work together.
  2. Listing Your Home: Together we’ll discuss market data, including specifics about your home and neighborhood, as well as the current market, then determine a list price and sign the listing agreement. You’ll then prepare your home for sale and we’ll launch the specific marketing plan for your home.
  3. Getting the Offer: Once an offer comes through, we’ll discuss and provide guidance on any negotiations. Additionally, we’ll work to ensure the buyer meets the terms and conditions of the contract and coordinate inspections.
  4. Closing the Sale: Collectively we’ll negotiate inspection-related items and help prepare closing documents. Reminders will be sent to change utilities, your address and review final closing information.  Finally, we’ll attend the closing together.

Make the Decision to Sell

Interview agents and review comparative market analysis (CMA). A CMA is an evaluation of a home's value based on similar, recently sold homes (called comparables) in the same neighborhood. A comparative market analysis is not the same as an appraisal, which is performed by a licensed appraiser.

Sign a Listing Contract

Confirm a listing price with your agent and start preparing your home for sale. Consider a consult with a staging professional.

Showcase Your Home

Make your home available for showings, agent tours, open houses and/or virtual tours. *We fully understand and respect your family's health and safety especially during the Coronavirus pandemic. Showing instructions will require all visitors to your home to wear masks, sanitize hands and take any other precautions as needed.

Receive an Offer

Your agent will present any and all offers in which you can discuss whether to accept, counter or reject.

Accept an Offer

Unless the buyer has waived all inspections as part of their initial offer, the buyer will schedule various inspections of your home which may include a general all home inspection, termite/wood boring insect inspection and/or a sewer scope. After inspections are completed, the buyer has the opportunity to renegotiate a post-inspection addendum based on findings from the inspections.
